Two Vulnerabilities Discovered on Intel Processors

Recently Microsoft issued an emergency update to fix processor exploits affecting intel processors made after 1995. The discovered vulnerabilities can allow an attacker to read the entire physical memory of the target machine(s). A computer’s physical memory stores information such as passwords, browsers, emails, documents, photos, etc. To fix this issue patches have been issued within updates to fix this vulnerability.

JMK has rolled out these patches for customers in order to fix the vulnerability and prohibit potential attackers from accessing their machines memory. We also recommend preforming windows updates on any other personal devices, such as, computers, tablets and some smart phones.

It is JMK’s mission to proactively warn customers of potential threats and address the issues before they affect customers.
